Beggars Belief are a professional ceilidh band who add a new dimension to any event. They play live music on traditional instruments: piano accordian, guitar, electric bass, and electric fiddle, enhanced by programmed keyboard drumbeats. A dance caller is included for lively, fun barn dancing to jigs and reels with trance and rock beats. Between the dances, we sing traditional songs as well as covers of bands such as the Pogues, Waterboys, Proclaimers and Levellers.

They come as a four-piece band with full PA system and lighting equipment (spots, moving stars, laser and smoke) and the facility to play CD's (if you have a particular song you would like your first dance to; or as background music to your buffet).

The choice of dances and songs are tailored especially for weddings, with the emphasis being on fun, enabling your guests to get to know each other.
